FeatureOS prices a plan rather than a person, and the first line on its pricing page is that there are no per user fees. That is true in the sense that matters most: nobody who posts or votes on your board is ever on the invoice.
Inside the plan there are two allowances, boards and seats, and both of them cost the same fifteen dollars a month to extend. Everything below was read on FeatureOS's own pricing page on 16 September 2026.
What does FeatureOS cost?
Three published plans, and what steps between them is the pair of allowances.
| Plan | Price | Boards | Seats | Integrations |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $60 | 5 | 5 | 3 |
| Growth | $120 | 10 | 10 | 5 |
| Business | $250 | Unlimited | 15 | Unlimited |
| Custom | Contact sales | Custom | Custom | Custom |
- Starter carries all five modules, being the feedback board, the roadmap, forms, the changelog and a knowledge base.
- Growth doubles both allowances and adds two more integrations.
- Business removes the board limit, raises seats to fifteen and removes the integration limit.
Annual billing takes two months off, which their page also states as seventeen percent. The trial is thirty days and asks for no card, which is the longest no card trial in this category.
If that arithmetic came out badly, a trial here is 14 days with a card at signup and the bill after it is $9 or $39 a month.
When is the extra seat cheaper than the next plan?
Up to three extra seats, and after that the plan above is cheaper.
| Your team | Starter plus seats | Growth |
|---|---|---|
| 6 people | $75 | $120 |
| 7 people | $90 | $120 |
| 8 people | $105 | $120 |
| 9 people | $120 | $120 |
| 10 people | $135 | $120 |
At nine people the two routes cost the same and Growth also doubles your boards, so nine is the point where nobody should still be buying extra seats. The same shape repeats between Growth and Business.
Does FeatureOS have a free plan?
No. Their published page starts at sixty dollars a month, and what stands in for a free plan is the thirty day trial that asks for no card.
Thirty days is long enough to find out whether anybody posts, which is the question a free plan usually answers. What it does not do is let a board sit there for a year while a side project finds its audience.
What this costs
Lite
$9 /mo
Pro
$39 /mo
Lifetime
$999 once
Fourteen day trial of Pro, card asked for at signup. Nothing here counts the people who vote, so the bill does not move when the board starts working. The long version, with what happens if you stop paying.
Fourteen days of Pro, a card at signup, then nine or thirty nine a month.
What is a board, and why does the count matter?
A board is one public place for one kind of request, and five of them sounds like plenty until you see how teams actually use them.
The common pattern is one board per product, plus a bug board, plus an internal board the team uses that customers never see. A company with two products is already at six under that pattern, and the sixth is fifteen dollars a month.
That is not a trap, it is a design choice, and the alternative design is the one this product uses: a project is the unit and a project has as many boards as it needs.
What does the knowledge base add?
A help centre under the same subscription, which is the main reason to prefer a five module product over a board.
Buying a board and a help centre separately is usually two subscriptions and two logins, and for a small team that is a real cost even when each piece is cheap. If the help centre is a job you actually have, sixty dollars covering both is a fair number rather than an expensive one.
If you do not have that job, you are paying for four modules to get one.
What does this cost on VoteFirst?
Nine dollars a month for one project, thirty nine for unlimited projects, the API, a custom domain and a team.
There is no seat counter and no board counter, so neither of the two numbers that move a FeatureOS invoice exists here. What FeatureOS has that this does not is the knowledge base, the forms module and a thirty day trial with no card.
What this has is the weight on the vote. Each customer tier carries a multiplier, the weight is written at the moment the vote is cast, and the plain count stays beside it. The mechanism is here and the alternative page compares the rest.
14 days, a card at signup, then $9 or $39 a month.
