Featurebase is a support desk and a feedback board sold as one subscription, and it is a lot of product for the money. It also has more separate charges on it than anything else in this comparison, and they are easy to miss when you are looking at a single headline number.
This page adds them up. Everything below was read on their own pricing page on 9 September 2026.
What is Featurebase?
Featurebase is a support desk and a feedback board sold as one subscription. Featurebase puts a public board, a changelog, a help centre and a survey module behind the same login, which is why one headline price covers more ground here than anywhere else in this comparison.
What does Featurebase cost?
Four plans, priced per seat and billed yearly.
| Plan | Price | Feedback boards | Roadmaps |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 1 | 1 |
| Growth | $29/seat/mo | 5 | 5 |
| Professional | $59/seat/mo | 10 | 10 |
| Enterprise | $99/seat/mo | Unlimited | Unlimited |
Two things on their page will confuse you if nobody warns you, and we got both of them wrong before we photographed the cards.
The prices above are the yearly ones. Every plan card carries its own switch reading billed yearly, it arrives switched on, and turning it off puts the same three plans at thirty seven, seventy five and a hundred and twenty nine dollars a seat.
There is no separate monthly page, just a switch that is easy to read as a label. Both columns, photographed in both switch positions, are on the pricing page for them.
The other switch, above the cards, says show features for and offers helpdesk or feedback. That one changes the feature lists and not the price, and every feedback card says it includes helpdesk underneath. Their own line for it is that all core modules are in one subscription.
The free plan is real and it needs no card. Their line is to start for free with no card required. It carries one seat, one board, one roadmap and fifty help centre articles, and it does not include the AI agent.
They also run a startup programme offering eighty six percent off for companies founded less than two years ago with fewer than six employees.
You can check this on a board of your own rather than take the table's word for it, and a trial is 14 days with a card at signup.
What are the other charges?
Three of them, and none is in the headline price.
Forty nine cents per AI resolution. Every paid plan carries it, charged once per conversation when their agent successfully resolves one.
Nineteen dollars a seat each month for unlimited AI Copilot. Without it you get ten Copilot conversations per seat per month.
Sixty nine dollars a month to remove Featurebase branding. That one is not available on Free or Growth at all. It is a paid extra on Professional and Enterprise, so the cheapest way to run an unbranded board with them is fifty nine dollars a seat plus sixty nine dollars a month.
We are not calling that unfair. Usage pricing on an AI agent is arguably the most honest way to sell one, since you pay when it works. But a reader comparing twenty nine dollars against our nine needs to know that twenty nine is the floor rather than the price.
What does the badge cost on ours?
Nothing, because there is not one on a paid plan.
Our branding badge shows only for accounts with no active plan. So at nine dollars a month your board carries your name and not ours, and there is no line item for it at any tier.
Against their sixty nine dollars a month for the same outcome, that is the single largest gap on this page and it is worth checking against their pricing table yourself.
Do they weight votes by revenue?
Yes, and Featurebase's revenue data sync starts on Growth at twenty nine dollars a seat.
Their own words are to sort feedback by revenue impact to help you prioritise the features that will have the biggest impact on your bottom line, and to sync your users' monthly spending, company name and other parameters.
So theirs sorts and ours multiplies. On ours each voter sits in a tier with a whole number multiplier, the weight is written onto the vote when it is cast, and the plain count stays visible next to the weighted total.
The mechanism is here. Seven of the twenty one tools we checked ship a form of this and Featurebase is one of the stronger ones.
14 days, a card at signup, then $9 or $39 a month.
When does the free plan run out?
At your second colleague.
Free is one seat. Everything else about it is generous, with unlimited posts, unlimited comments and unlimited end users. But the moment a second person needs to answer feedback you are on Growth at twenty nine dollars a seat, which for two people is fifty eight dollars a month.
Their board privacy, post moderation and multilingual feedback all start on Professional at fifty nine dollars a seat, and their prioritisation module is Enterprise only. Featurebase opens its API on Growth, with MCP support and webhooks beside it.
Does Featurebase have a public roadmap and single sign on?
Featurebase shows a public roadmap alongside the voting board. Featurebase puts single sign on on Enterprise. Ours publishes a public roadmap with a Denied column on every plan, and signs a voter in with a token from your own application on the thirty nine dollar plan rather than with SAML.
Is there a free Featurebase alternative?
Yes, several, and none of them is Featurebase. Fider is the free one to know about, because it is open source and its hosted tier runs to two hundred and fifty feedback items.
UserJot gives two boards and three admin roles, Supahub gives one board and one admin, Featurebase gives one seat, and Sleekplan's Indie tier is a single admin workspace that does not expire.
All five were read on their own pages on 14 September 2026. This product is not one of them. There is no free plan here, only a fourteen day trial that asks for a card at signup.
Is Featurebase worth it, and when is it the better answer?
Three cases, and the first is the real one.
You want a helpdesk and a feedback board from one vendor. Live chat, a shared inbox, ticketing, an AI agent and a help centre, in the same subscription as the board. None of that is on sale here and none of it ever will be.
You want a free plan for one person. Theirs is genuinely usable and we do not have one.
You are an early startup that qualifies for their programme. Eighty six percent off is a serious discount and we do not have an equivalent.
What does ours cost?
Nine dollars a month for one project, with no seat price, no usage charge and no branding fee.
That plan is one project, one roadmap and every widget, with weighted voting included, and no API, no custom domain and no team members. Thirty nine dollars adds those.
So for one person running one board without their branding on it, the comparison is nine dollars against fifty nine dollars a seat plus sixty nine dollars a month.
For a support team that also wants a helpdesk, the comparison is not close in the other direction. Every price and unit in the category is on one page.
