To cite it, link https://votefirst.app/en/data/miro-feature-requests and give the read date, 4 October 2026. The id in each row ends the idea's address on the forum: the first row above is Dark Mode / Night Mode, the most voted idea on the Wish List.

How do you submit a feature request to Miro?

Miro's community guide, Everything You Need to Know About Miro Wish List, posted in June 2020, sets out the steps.

  1. Sign in to the community with your Miro account.
  2. Search the Wish List first. If the idea is there, press Vote on it and add your view in a comment.
  3. If it is not, choose Submit an idea, pick the post type Wish List Idea, write it, tag the product area and create the post.
  4. The community team processes a new idea in one to five business days.

The guide asks for a clear title that sums up the idea, one idea per post and as much detail as possible. It says popular ideas help Miro understand what matters to users, and that no idea is guaranteed to be built.

What do the statuses on Miro's Wish List mean?

Status Meaning, from Miro's guide Ideas
Open Open for votes and comments 4,516
Delivered Built and fully available in the product 206
Duplicate Idea (closed) Already posted as another idea 125
Existing Feature (closed) Miro already does it 26
Beta Being tested with some customers 9
Closed Closed for spam, inactivity or breaking the guidelines 6
In Development Being worked on 3
Not Planned Not planned for now 1

One idea carries Not Planned, and it has one vote. With 4,516 of the 4,892 ideas Open, the board rarely says no, so an Open idea may be waiting or may already have been turned down without a mark.

Do votes get a Miro feature request delivered?

They do. The delivered share climbs with the vote count, from 1.2 percent at one vote or none to 31.3 percent past a hundred.

Votes Ideas Delivered Share delivered Still Open
None 330 4 1.2% 290
1 1,380 16 1.2% 1,318
2 to 4 1,547 34 2.2% 1,480
5 to 9 735 25 3.4% 681
10 to 19 402 40 10.0% 351
20 to 49 308 38 12.3% 260
50 to 99 91 18 19.8% 72
100 or more 99 31 31.3% 64

Votes are spread wider than on Microsoft's Feedback portal, where the top 1 percent of posts hold 78.2 percent. On Miro's board the top 1 percent of ideas hold 34.6 percent of the 59,435 votes, the median idea has two, and only 6.7 percent have none. A third of the ideas, 34.5 percent, have no reply, and the median idea has been viewed 102 times.

Age matters too. 109 of the 732 ideas posted in 2020, the Wish List's first year, are delivered, 14.9 percent. For ideas posted in 2024 the share is 1.4 percent, and in 2025 it is 1.0 percent.

Posted in Ideas Delivered Still Open Median votes
2020, from 30 January 732 109 81.3% 11
2021 796 42 92.6% 3
2022 1,022 21 94.9% 2
2023 799 17 94.0% 2
2024 807 11 93.4% 2
2025 525 5 95.8% 2
2026, to 4 October 211 1 97.6% 1

Posting has fallen since 2022. In 2026 the board has taken between 13 and 33 new ideas a month, against 43 to 91 a month in 2024.

Which Miro feature requests have the most votes?

Idea Votes Posted Status
Dark Mode / Night Mode 2,423 May 2020 Open
Offline mode 1,890 May 2020 Open
Folders in projects 1,436 April 2020 In Development
Collapsible branches on mind maps 1,005 March 2020 Delivered
Find and replace text 870 April 2020 Open
Layers 814 March 2020 Delivered
Custom typefaces 694 February 2020 Delivered
Board background colour 591 April 2020 Delivered
Markdown support 444 March 2020 Open
Several people on one card 398 August 2020 Open

All ten were posted in 2020. Four are marked Delivered, one is In Development, and the two most voted, dark mode and offline mode, are still Open more than six years after they were posted. Among other delivered ideas with more than 300 votes are crow's foot notation for entity relationship diagrams, a Visio integration, importing Mural boards and flippable cards. Letting anonymous visitors edit their names, with 380 votes, is in Beta.

A status records what Miro said on the board, and an Open idea may still have shipped without being marked.

Which parts of Miro get the most requests?

Most ideas carry no product area: 3,581 of 4,892, or 73.2 percent. Among those that do, Other leads with 242, then Mapping and Diagramming with 147, Apps and Integrations with 136 and Navigation with 101. The API area has 22 ideas and none delivered, and Miro Assist, the AI area, has 16, with none delivered.

How does Miro compare with other public trackers?

Miro's Wish List runs on the same community software as Intercom's Product Wishlist, which has released 2.3 percent of its 3,383 ideas, and Zendesk's feedback board, which has delivered 6.1 percent of 7,761. Microsoft's Feedback portal has marked 0.29 percent of its 107,826 posts added or improved. Across 634 Canny and Featurebase boards, completion rises far less with votes, from 29.0 percent at two votes or fewer to 38.9 percent at fifty or more, because those boards mark many more of their requests.

What does that mean for your own feature request board?

Miro's board shows that votes and decisions can line up: the more an idea is voted for, the likelier it is delivered. What it lacks is the no. With one idea marked Not Planned, a voter waiting on one of the 4,516 Open ideas cannot tell a request still in the running from one that never will be. On VoteFirst, Denied and Completed are both columns on the board by default, so a decision sits where voters look. Voting is anonymous by default, and when a release includes a request, every voter who was signed in when they voted is emailed that release.

How was this read, and when does it change?

Each page of the Wish List carries its ideas as JSON for the page's own scripts. On 4 October 2026 all 196 pages were read, 4,892 ideas, the same count the board reports. Votes, views and replies are as of the read date, and each status is the one the board showed that day. The read cannot tell when a status was set, and the last activity date is the newest post or edit on the idea, not the date it was delivered. Ideas waiting in moderation or removed could not be read.

The public file holds one row per idea with product areas by name and no titles or authors. The next read is due by 1 January 2027.

14 days, a card at signup, then $9 or $39 a month.
