Viima is seventy nine euros a month, and the product is now called HYPE Boards

Viima prices in euros, excluding VAT, and publishes its figures as monthly amounts billed annually. The product answers to HYPE Boards on its own site while the domain stays viima.com.

Two numbers decide what you pay: how many people are in the workspace and how many boards you need. Everything below was read on their own pricing page on 16 September 2026.

What does Viima cost?

Two published plans and a quoted one.

• Basic carries the basic features, idea evaluations, gamification and single sign on with Microsoft, Google or a social account.
• Pro adds custom fields, customisable appearance and notifications, ten workflow automations per board, third party integrations with Jira and Microsoft Teams, and optional implementation support.
• Advanced adds unlimited automations, advanced user roles, mass imports and updates, a REST API and a dedicated customer success manager.

Prices exclude VAT. The figures above are monthly amounts billed annually, and their page says Basic is also sold on a monthly contract at a slightly higher rate per user.

If that arithmetic came out badly, a trial here is 14 days with a card at signup and the bill after it is $9 or $39 a month.

At what point does Pro become the cheaper plan?

At seventy people, and the board count usually gets there first.

Below seventy people, buying extra seats on Basic is the cheaper route by a wide margin. Above it, Pro is.

The catch is that Basic carries two boards. A programme that wants one board per department or one per challenge hits that limit at three boards and moves to Pro for the board count long before the user arithmetic says to.

Does Viima have a free plan?

Yes, with conditions, and their own questions page is where it is described.

Every plan starts with a fourteen day free trial of Pro and asks for no credit card. When the trial ends, a team of fewer than ten people can keep using HYPE Boards free with limited functionality.

Their page also explains what happens if you go over the free limits during the trial: the workspace is temporarily locked and you either remove enough boards or users to fit back inside the free plan, or you upgrade.

What is a board here, and why does two feel small?

A board is one process with its own access rights, in their own description, so each board can run differently and admit different people.

That is a genuinely useful design for an innovation programme, where a cost saving challenge and a new product challenge want different rules and different audiences. It also means the natural number of boards is the number of distinct programmes you run, and almost nobody runs only two.

So the two board limit on Basic is doing the same work a seat minimum does elsewhere. It is the line that moves a serious customer up a tier.

What does this cost on VoteFirst?
