Feature Upvote's bill grows when you launch a second product and stays flat no matter how many people sit on your side of it. FeedBear's bill does the opposite below its second project: it stays flat while your customers pile on and moves the moment you hire a second colleague.
Put the same small company through both and you get two different answers depending on whether the thing that grows at your company is headcount or product count. Everything below was read on each vendor's own pricing page on 14 September 2026.
What does each one charge?
Forty nine dollars a board a month, nineteen a month for one project and one person, and nine for a plan that counts neither.

FeedBear's Lite plan is nineteen dollars a month billed monthly, or fifteen billed yearly, and it buys one team member and one board. A second colleague or a second board takes you straight to Startup at forty nine.
Feature Upvote's Indie plan is forty nine dollars per board a month billed yearly, or fifty nine monthly, and team members are unlimited on the same plan. Standard doubles the price for identical features and buys faster support.
So the two forty nine dollar figures above are describing opposite walls. Feature Upvote's is the price of one more product. FeedBear's is the price of one more person, or of that same second product, whichever you add first.
How much does Feature Upvote cost compared to FeedBear?
Run the same small company through three shapes and the two prices swap which one is cheaper.

A lone founder running one board pays FeedBear a third of what Feature Upvote asks. Add five colleagues to that same one board and FeedBear jumps to Business while Feature Upvote does not move at all.
Add two more boards instead of colleagues and the ranking flips again, because Feature Upvote charges per board and FeedBear's Startup tier does not.
Neither figure above is invented. Both come straight from the plans each vendor prints, and the crossover point is wherever your own company sits between more people and more products.

Which one should you choose?
They answer to opposite shapes of growth, and the honest pick names something real about each.
FeedBear's entry plan is unusually generous for nineteen dollars: unlimited ideas and unlimited voters, alongside the roadmap, the changelog and custom CSS, none of it held back for a higher tier. The one thing it holds back is a second person or a second board.
Feature Upvote puts single sign on through SAML 2.0 and a private board on its entry plan, at a price most of this category asks four times as much for. If a security review is part of your buying process, that row alone can decide it.
One project is nine dollars a month. Unlimited projects is thirty nine.
Why choose Feature Upvote over FeedBear, or FeedBear over Feature Upvote?
Because one of them prices what you build and the other prices who is on your side of it.
Choose Feature Upvote when you run several products and expect your team to grow, because the price per board never changes and colleagues cost nothing extra on either published plan.
Choose FeedBear when you run one product with a small team and want the most complete plan for the least money, because Lite already carries almost everything on the price list and the wall only appears when a second person or a second board shows up.
Is there a cheaper alternative to both?
Several, and which one wins depends on whether your own growth shows up in headcount or in product count.
Against Feature Upvote's per board rate, a flat plan is cheaper from the second board onward, and ours is nine dollars against their forty nine. Against FeedBear's team cap, a plan with no seat limit is cheaper from the second colleague onward.

What does each do with a vote from a big customer?
Neither weights it, and both pages we read say so in their own words rather than by simply staying silent.

Feature Upvote's help centre returns nothing for a search on weighting, and no page we read names a revenue tier. FeedBear's own site and help centre are equally silent on the point.
A vote from your largest account and a vote from your smallest one move the counter by exactly the same amount on either board.
Can I move from one to the other?
Some of it, and the part that does not survive is the same on both sides.
The person behind each vote, the comment history underneath a request, the date the request was originally posted, and the direct links you have already shared all fail to make the trip, whichever of these two you are leaving.
Neither vendor's pages we read document a self serve export for requests and votes. What arrives after any move in this category is the request text, the current vote totals and the statuses, rebuilt rather than carried over.
Ours takes voters and their revenue from a CSV and writes twelve columns back out if you ever leave.
Where we fit, and where we do not
Both of the products on this page have a way to hide a board from the public, and we have nothing equivalent. Feature Upvote's private board is on its entry plan. FeedBear's private ideas are on Lite and its private projects are on Business, so the same protection exists on both, one tier apart.
Both also carry single sign on. Feature Upvote's is SAML 2.0 on the plan you start on. FeedBear's is on Business, its third tier. We have neither kind anywhere in this product; our own sign in is a token your own application signs, which answers a different question than a company directory login does.
What we do instead is put a whole number multiplier on a customer tier and write that weight onto the vote when it is cast, on every plan including the nine dollar one. Neither of the two above does that on the pages we checked.
What is Feature Upvote, and what is FeedBear?
Feature Upvote is a single public feedback board, deliberately without a roadmap or a changelog, billed per board each month with an identical feature list on both of its published tiers.
FeedBear is a board with a roadmap and a changelog on the same product, billed per project, with the number of team members and the number of boards each counted against the plan you pick.
Does either one have a free plan?
Neither does. Feature Upvote's trial is thirty days and asks for no card, which is the joint longest published in the table, matched by two other vendors. FeedBear's trial is fourteen days and its own page says it also asks for no card.
