Supahub and Featurebase both give away a working board for one person and both draw the line at the exact same place, your second colleague. What that second person costs is where the two vendors stop agreeing. Everything below was read on each vendor's own pricing page on 14 and 15 September 2026.
What does each one charge?
Nothing, twenty nine dollars a seat, and nine, and the free row on both rivals stops at one admin.
| Vendor | From | Billed per | Free plan | Trial |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| VoteFirst | $7.50/mo | plan | – | 14 days, card |
| Supahub | $15/mo | workspace | 1 board | – |
| Featurebase | $29/seat/mo | seat | 1 seat | – |
Read on each vendor's own pricing page on 2026-09-14 and 2026-09-15.
Supahub's meter counts the workspace itself, its boards and the admins who run them, with end users never counted on any tier. Featurebase's meter counts only the seat, your own colleague, and lets end users, posts and comments run uncapped on every plan including the free one.
Both vendors put the same person behind the wall. Supahub's Starter plan is fifteen dollars a month billed yearly for that second admin, and it arrives with a second board included.
Featurebase charges twenty nine dollars a seat billed yearly for the same second person, so two seats is fifty eight dollars before a second board is even needed.
How much does Supahub cost compared to Featurebase?
Admins decide almost everything here, and boards decide the rest. Three shapes below run both meters at once.
| Your situation | Supahub | Featurebase |
|---|---|---|
| 2 admins, 1 board | $15/mo billed yearly, Starter covers two admins and two boards | $58/mo billed yearly, two seats on Growth, one board sits well under its five board line |
| 5 admins, 4 boards | $125/mo billed yearly, Premium; Growth's own table stops at three admins plus a customer success manager, so five admins forces the top plan | $145/mo billed yearly, five seats on Growth, four boards fit inside its own five board allowance |
| 11 admins, 12 boards | Not published. Supahub's own ladder tops out at ten admins on Premium, and their page names no rate past it | $1,089/mo billed yearly, eleven seats on Enterprise, forced there once the twelfth board passes Professional's ten board line |
The middle row is the one worth sitting with. At five admins and four boards, the two bills land within twenty dollars of each other, which almost never happens once headcount grows on either side of this pair.
The bottom row is the more useful finding. Supahub simply has no printed number for an eleven person team, because its own pricing page never names a rate past the tenth admin.
Featurebase keeps charging by the seat however far past ten you go, so it is the only one of the two with an answer at that size.
If you would rather look at a board than read about billing, the demo is open without an account.
Which one should you choose?
They solve for different growth, and the fair answer credits both.
Supahub folds a second board into the same fifteen dollars that buys the second admin, so a small team running two products never pays twice for it. That pairing, one price for both counters at once, is rare in this category.
Featurebase's free seat is not a shrunk trial. It carries a real board, a real roadmap and uncapped end users forever, with no card asked for at any point. A single founder can run this for nothing indefinitely.
Choose Supahub if boards are the number that will grow fastest for you. Choose Featurebase if your team will stay at one person for a while and you want that person to pay nothing.
Fourteen days of Pro, a card at signup, then nine or thirty nine a month.
Why choose Supahub over Featurebase, or Featurebase over Supahub?
Because one prices the workspace as a whole and the other prices the person twice over, once directly and once through what a person's board allowance buys.
Choose Supahub when you expect several boards before you expect several admins, since its ladder bundles more boards into the same step that adds the second colleague.
Choose Featurebase when your team is one person today and might stay that way, since the free seat asks for nothing and a second board still fits inside it.
That is the whole decision, and it turns on which number in your own company moves first, not on either vendor's front page figure.
Is there a cheaper alternative to both?
Depends on which of the two walls you are closer to hitting.
Against Supahub's admin and board ladder, a flat single price beats it the moment a third board or a third admin is needed. Against Featurebase's seat price, a flat plan wins as soon as a second person joins at all.
The whole field, with the unit each vendor bills on, sits on one page, and what each meter costs at a team size you choose is worked out here. Ours holds at nine dollars a month for one project, whichever wall was going to catch you first.
What does each do with a vote from a big customer?
| Vendor | Weighting by revenue | Single sign on | API | Custom domain |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Supahub | – | Growth | Premium | Growth |
| Featurebase | Growth, ties a request to a customer's spend | Enterprise | Growth, with MCP and webhooks | Growth |
| VoteFirst | All plans | Pro, no SAML | Pro | Pro |
Read on each vendor's own pricing page on 2026-09-14 and 2026-09-15. A dash means nobody could read an answer on the page opened that day, never that the capability is absent, and that rule holds for every table on this page.
Featurebase's own line is to sync a customer's spend and company name and sort requests by it, which reorders a list. Supahub's own pages we read never mention revenue against a vote at all; their nearest feature scores a request by effort against value, with nobody's wallet in the formula.
We went through our own matrix of thirty two feedback tools by hand rather than trust memory on this. Eight of them put some kind of revenue language on their own pricing or product pages.
Of those eight, exactly half, four vendors, go further and actually change what a single vote is worth rather than only sorting a list by the money behind it. Featurebase sits in the larger group of eight. Supahub sits outside it entirely.
Can I move from one to the other?
Neither vendor's pricing or alternative pages, the only pages we are willing to quote from, say what their export actually contains, so we are not going to guess at either one.
What a move between any two boards in this category typically loses is who cast each individual vote rather than the running total, the thread underneath a comment, and any link a customer already saved. That is a pattern worth expecting rather than a claim checked against either export file directly.
Where we fit, and where we do not
We run one module, a public board with a roadmap on it. Both products above give away more than that for the same login, and both hold real ground we do not.
Both of them have a free plan, and we do not have one at any size. A founder with no budget can run either Supahub or Featurebase forever without paying anything. Ours starts at nine dollars from the first day, card required.
Both put a real identity provider login behind a paid tier, and ours is not that kind of single sign on. Supahub's arrives on Growth at forty dollars, Featurebase's on Enterprise. What we offer instead is a signed handoff from your own application on the thirty nine dollar plan, which answers a different question than a company directory login does, and it is not SAML.
What we do instead of any of that is put a whole number multiplier on a tier and write that weight onto the vote itself the moment it is cast, with the plain count printed beside the weighted total on the nine dollar plan the same as the thirty nine dollar one.
What is Supahub, and what is Featurebase?
Supahub is a public feedback board that also carries a roadmap and a changelog, and its own price ladder counts the boards you keep open and the admins running them, never the people posting to them.
Featurebase pairs that same kind of board with a help desk, a changelog and a survey tool under one login, and prices the whole bundle by the seat, meaning your own colleague rather than your customer.
Does either one have a free plan?
Both do, and they stop at the same person for a different reason. Supahub's free plan, read on 14 September 2026, holds one board and one admin with unlimited end users. Featurebase's, read on 15 September 2026, holds one seat with uncapped end users, uncapped posts and uncapped comments.
Neither free plan counts how many customers show up. Both count how many of your own people log in to run it.

The honest summary
Supahub and Featurebase agree on where free ends, at the second admin, and disagree sharply on what that person costs next. Fifteen dollars gets a second admin and a second board on Supahub. Fifty eight dollars gets only the second seat on Featurebase, with the board allowance riding along for free.
Above five admins Supahub stops publishing a number at all, while Featurebase keeps charging by the seat as far as your team goes. Neither weights a vote by what its owner pays us, and ours does, at nine dollars flat regardless of which wall you were about to hit.
The Supahub alternative page and the Featurebase one carry each side on its own.
