Ideanote is six dollars a user, and the plan stops at fifty of them

Ideanote publishes the lowest per head price in this comparison, and the number is only half the story. The plan it belongs to has a hard cap at fifty users, and past that cap the published route is a quoted enterprise contract with a four figure floor.

That shape follows from what the product is. Ideanote is an idea management platform for collecting ideas inside a company, so the user being counted is a participant in the programme. Everything below was read on Ideanote's own pricing page on 16 September 2026.

The Ideanote pricing page read 16 September 2026, Free at nothing for up to ten users, Scale at six dollars per user a month billed yearly or seven monthly, and Ultimate starting at eight hundred and ninety nine dollars a month for a hundred users

What does Ideanote cost?

A free plan, one published paid plan and a quoted one with a published floor.

Plan Price Users Ideas Collections Teams Automations and AI
Free $0 Up to 10 250 5 1 100 runs, 100 credits
Scale yearly $6 per user a month Up to 50 Unlimited 15 10 500 runs, 500 credits
Scale monthly $7 per user a month Up to 50 Unlimited 15 10 500 runs, 500 credits
Ultimate From $899 a month for 100 users Custom Unlimited Unlimited Unlimited Custom
  • Free carries all the core features and asks for no credit card. Ten admins are included and admins count towards the user limit.
  • Scale removes the idea cap, triples the collections, adds ten teams, and adds branding removal, a custom domain and priority support.
  • Ultimate adds an audit log, advanced security controls, a 99.9 percent uptime commitment, single sign on, SCIM directory sync, data residency options, onboarding and support by video call.

If that arithmetic came out badly, a trial here is 14 days with a card at signup and the bill after it is $9 or $39 a month.

What does the programme cost as it grows?

The per head number is small and it is still a per head number.

Participants Plan Monthly
10 Free $0
25 Scale yearly $150
50 Scale yearly $300
100 Ultimate From $899

Between fifty and a hundred there is no published price at all. A company with sixty people who should all be able to submit an idea is in a sales conversation, not on a pricing page.

Does Ideanote have a free plan?

Yes, and it is a real one. Ten users, two hundred and fifty ideas, five idea collections, one team, and their page says no credit card is required.

The hundred automation runs and hundred AI credits a month are the soft limits on it. A credit is consumed by an ordinary action such as generating an idea, so a hundred is a week of enthusiastic use rather than a month of it.

Fourteen day trial of Pro, card asked for at signup. Nothing here counts the people who vote, so the bill does not move when the board starts working. The long version, with what happens if you stop paying.

Fourteen days of Pro, a card at signup, then nine or thirty nine a month.

What is an idea collection?

A goal with ideas gathered under it, such as cutting a cost or launching a product, and it is the organising unit of the whole product.

Five of them on the free plan and fifteen on Scale. A company running one innovation challenge a quarter uses four a year, so fifteen is several years of programme. A company running one per department fills it in a month.

This is the clearest signal of who the product is for. A feature request board has one list per product and needs no such unit at all.

The admin view of the board ordered by revenue, each card showing the monthly revenue behind the request beside its plain vote count
The same board, sorted by the revenue behind each request.

Can this price list work for customer feedback?

It can hold the feedback, and the meter argues against it.

A customer feedback programme succeeds by getting more customers to take part. On a per user plan with a cap at fifty, every success brings the cap closer, and the fifty first customer is the one who ends the published price.

Every tool built for customer requests makes the opposite trade: charge for the team, let the public side be unlimited. That is what this product does and it is what most of the table alongside it does.

What does this cost on VoteFirst?

Nine dollars a month for one project, thirty nine for unlimited projects, the API, a custom domain and a team, with no cap on how many people take part.

What Ideanote has that this does not is a free plan, automation workflows and a programme layer built for internal innovation.

What this has is the money on the vote. Each customer tier carries a multiplier, the weight is written when the vote is cast, and the plain count stays beside it. The mechanism is here and the alternative page compares the rest.

14 days, a card at signup, then $9 or $39 a month.
