Crowdsignal pricing, by the signal

Crowdsignal builds polls, surveys, quizzes and ratings, and counts every answer it collects as a signal. Free costs nothing for up to 2,500 signals, with no card needed. Premium is $25 a month, or $15 billed annually, and removes the signal limit entirely. Business is $59 a month, or $45 billed annually, and drops the Crowdsignal branding. Team is $29 a user a month, sold only billed annually. Every paid plan carries a 30 day money back guarantee instead of a trial.

Every current figure here was read on crowdsignal.com/pricing on 4 October 2026, and every older one on the Internet Archive's copies of the same page.

What does Crowdsignal cost?

Plan Billed monthly Billed yearly, a month Signals Branding File upload size
Free $0 $0 2,500 Crowdsignal branding 1MB
Premium $25 $15 Unlimited Crowdsignal branding 5MB
Business $59 $45 Unlimited None 5MB
Team $29 a user $29 a user Unlimited None 10MB

A signal is one response to a poll, a rating, or a single survey or quiz question, so a five question survey answered once counts as five. Premium adds a Google Sheets sync, branching logic and priority email support over Free. Business removes the Crowdsignal branding, adds custom CSS themes, a custom domain and advanced API access, and caps email surveys at 50,000 a month, with no overage fee printed for going past that cap. Team is billed only annually, at $29 a user.

Is there a free plan or a trial?

Free is a plan with no end date, not a trial, and the page does not ask for a card to start it. None of the three paid plans carries a trial; each instead comes with a 30 day money back guarantee, described on the page as no questions asked. The frequently asked questions add that a Premium account can move to Business later, with support issuing a refund on the original Premium charge once the upgrade is made.

What happens past the signal limit?

Only the Free plan has a signal limit. Past 2,500 signals, the page says the extra signals are not shown in the results area, though Crowdsignal keeps collecting every incoming response in case the account later upgrades and wants the full data. Premium, Business and Team carry no signal limit, and the pricing page prints no overage fee for any plan; Business caps email surveys at 50,000 a month and states no charge for going over.

How has Crowdsignal's price changed?

Archive copy Plans and prices a month
13 January 2019 Free (tier, no price printed on this copy); Pro $29 or $200 a year; Corporate $99 or $899 a year
8 January 2021 Free $0; Premium $25 or $15 billed annually; Business $59 or $45; Team $29 a user, billed annually only
4 May 2023 Same four plans and prices as January 2021

Crowdsignal's January 2019 copy still sold two paid tiers, Pro and Corporate, priced by the month or by a flat annual total rather than a monthly rate billed yearly. By January 2021 the page had moved to the Free, Premium, Business and Team structure it still uses now, and every archived copy since then, including May 2023 and the live page read on 4 October 2026, carries the same four prices.

Does Crowdsignal run a feature voting board?

The site navigation links to features, pricing and login, and its footer links to a dashboard, a WordPress plugin, a status page, a blog, tutorials, community resources and a help center. None of those is a public board where customers post requests and vote on each other's. Crowdsignal is built by Automattic, the company behind WordPress.com.

VoteFirst is a feature request board: customers post requests, vote and follow a public roadmap, at $9 a month for one project or $39 for unlimited projects and colleagues, with no signal count on either plan. Crowdsignal has a free plan with no card and no end date, for up to 2,500 signals, which VoteFirst does not offer. SurveyMonkey prices the closest rival survey tool, Zoho Survey meters by the response in a similar way, the survey software shortlist compares ten survey tools by the response and the seat, and the pricing hub groups every vendor by what it meters.

How were these prices read?

The current plans, signal limits and refund terms come from crowdsignal.com/pricing, read on 4 October 2026, which prints every price in US dollars. The history comes from the Internet Archive's copies of the same page taken on 13 January 2019, 8 January 2021 and 4 May 2023; the 2021 and 2023 copies print the same four plans and prices as the live page read today.

14 days, a card at signup, then $9 or $39 a month.
