SurveyMonkey builds surveys, forms and quizzes, and sizes every paid plan by the responses it collects. Basic is free for one user. Standard Monthly is $129 a month for 1,000 responses a month, the only plan billed month to month. Advantage Annual is $39 a month, billed $468 a year, for 15,000 responses a year, and Premier Annual is $139 a month, billed $1,668 a year, for 40,000. Team Advantage and Team Premier cost $30 and $92 a user a month, billed yearly, for three users or more, and Enterprise is priced after a demo.
These are the US prices in the Internet Archive's copy of surveymonkey.com/pricing taken on 2 September 2026. The page sets its currency by the visitor's country, and read from Europe on 4 October 2026 it showed the same plans and limits in Czech koruna. Every older figure comes from the Internet Archive's copies of the same page.
What does SurveyMonkey cost?
| Plan | Price a month | Billed | Responses | Users |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | Free | A limited number a survey | 1 | |
| Standard Monthly | $129 | Monthly | 1,000 a month | 1 |
| Advantage Annual | $39 | $468 a year | 15,000 a year | 1 |
| Premier Annual | $139 | $1,668 a year | 40,000 a year | 1 |
| Team Advantage | $30 a user | Yearly, from 3 users | 50,000 a year | 3 or more |
| Team Premier | $92 a user | Yearly, from 3 users | 100,000 a year | 3 or more |
| Enterprise | After a demo | A custom limit | 5 or more |
Basic allows 10 questions a survey and shows only a limited number of responses for each survey, even when it collects more; the exact number appears only after signing up. Standard adds unlimited questions, skip logic, custom design, email invitations and data exports. Advantage adds premium themes, more logic, payments, statistical significance and AI analysis. Premier adds white label branding, advanced logic, block randomization, multilingual surveys, crosstabs and phone support. The team plans add shared brand assets, user roles and permissions, and Enterprise adds single sign on, governance controls and a choice of US, Canadian or EU data center.
What happens past the response limit?
The account keeps collecting, and every response above the plan's limit costs $0.15. On paid plans the limit is counted across all of an account's surveys and users.
| Plan | Responses a year | Price a year | Per 1,000 responses |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard Monthly | 12,000 | $1,548 | $129 |
| Advantage Annual | 15,000 | $468 | $31.20 |
| Premier Annual | 40,000 | $1,668 | $41.70 |
| Team Advantage, 3 users | 50,000 | $1,080 | $21.60 |
| Team Premier, 3 users | 100,000 | $3,312 | $33.12 |
| Any plan, above its limit | Each one | $0.15 each | $150 |
A thousand responses over the limit cost $150, against $21.60 to $129 for the same thousand inside a plan. Standard Monthly collects a response at about four times Advantage's rate, which is the price of not committing to a year.
Is there a free plan or a trial?
Basic is a free plan with no end date, and the pricing page mentions no trial of the paid plans. Paid plans renew on their own. Turning renewal off moves the account back to Basic at the end of the billing period, and any responses above the Basic limit that are older than 365 days are then deleted. Students and educators in the US and UK get special pricing, and nonprofits may qualify for a discount. The page prints no refund terms.

Does SurveyMonkey run a feature voting board?
Its pricing pages and home page link no roadmap or board where customers post requests and vote on each other's. A survey can collect feature requests, but SurveyMonkey adds no voting, statuses or public roadmap on top of the answers.
What this costs

Pro

VoteFirst is a feature request board: customers post requests, vote and follow a public roadmap, at $9 a month for one project or $39 for unlimited projects and colleagues, with no response count on either plan. It builds no surveys and runs no statistics on answers, which is what SurveyMonkey sells. Typeform, Jotform and SurveySparrow price rival form and survey builders, Tally and Fillout have far larger free plans, the CSAT and NPS shortlist compares thirteen survey tools by the answered survey, the survey software shortlist compares ten survey tools by the response and the seat, and the pricing hub groups every vendor by what it meters.
