Koala Feedback pricing, by the board and the admin

Koala Feedback has a free plan, then Growth at $29 a month billed yearly, read on its own pricing page on 21 October 2026. VoteFirst, whose maker wrote this page, starts at $9 a month for one project, so weigh what follows with that in mind.

Koala Feedback runs a feedback board where customers post requests, vote and comment, with a public roadmap beside it. It prices by the people who run the board, not the people who vote. Starter is free for three boards and one admin. Growth is $39 a month, or $29 billed yearly, for unlimited boards and five admins. Business is $99 a month, or $89 billed yearly, adding AI moderation and priority support. Voters and commenters are unlimited on every plan.

Every current figure here was read on koalafeedback.com/pricing on 4 October 2026, in both billing views, and every older one on the Internet Archive's copies of the same page.

What does Koala Feedback cost?

Starter Growth Business
Billed monthly Free $39 a month $99 a month
Billed yearly Free $29 a month $89 a month
Admins included 1 5 5
Each extra admin Not offered $20 a month, $18 billed yearly $20 a month, $18 billed yearly
Boards 3 Unlimited Unlimited
Statuses 5 6 Unlimited
Active posts 100 Unlimited Unlimited
Voters and commenters Unlimited Unlimited Unlimited

Starter carries feedback collection, voting and comments, the public roadmap and customization. Growth adds a custom domain, file uploads on posts, merging of duplicate posts and custom statuses. Business adds what the page calls "Advanced AI features", such as auto moderation of posts and comments, and priority support.

The yearly toggle is labelled "25% discount". That holds for Growth, $29 against $39, and not for Business, $89 against $99, which is ten percent off. An active post is one still open or in progress; completed posts do not count toward Starter's hundred.

What does Koala Feedback cost by team size?

Admins Plan Billed monthly Billed yearly, a month
1 Starter Free Free
2 to 5 Growth $39 $29
6 Growth $59 $47
10 Growth $139 $119
10 Business $199 $179

A single admin with three boards or fewer and under a hundred open posts pays nothing. The second admin is the step that costs money, $29 a month billed yearly, because Starter has no extra admin to buy. After the fifth, each admin adds $18 a month billed yearly on either paid plan, so Business stays $60 a month above Growth at every team size.

Is there a free plan or a trial?

Starter is free, with no time limit printed and a "Start for free" button on every plan. The page offers no trial of the paid plans, states no card requirement and lists no refund terms. Koala's terms of service, last updated 18 April 2025, say "No refunds will be issued for unused portions of service periods, except as may be required by applicable law", and are governed by Dutch law.

How has Koala Feedback's price changed?

Archive copy Plans and prices a month
June 2025 to October 2026 Starter free for three boards and one admin; Growth at $39, or $29 billed yearly; Business at $99, or $89 billed yearly; extra admins at $20, or $18 billed yearly

The price list has not moved in the seven copies read, from 21 June 2025 to 4 October 2026. The product is young: the archive's first copy of koalafeedback.com, from April 2025, is a web framework's default welcome page, and June 2025 is the first copy with a price on it.

Does Koala Feedback run a feature voting board?

It does; that is the product. Its pricing page lists no revenue weighting of votes and no integrations, with integrations marked "Coming soon" in its menu.

VoteFirst is the same kind of board at $9 a month for one project or $39 for unlimited projects and colleagues. On budget alone Koala wins twice: its free plan covers a single admin VoteFirst would charge for, and its Growth plan puts a custom domain at $29 billed yearly where VoteFirst puts it on Pro at $39. What VoteFirst adds is voting weighted by what each customer pays, shown beside the plain count. UserJot, Supahub and Frill price the same kind of board on their own pages, and the pricing hub groups every vendor by what it meters.

How were these prices read?

The current plans come from koalafeedback.com/pricing, read on 4 October 2026 as served, with both billing views, the comparison table and its definitions. The refund line comes from koalafeedback.com/legal/terms-of-service on the same day. The history comes from the Internet Archive's copies of the pricing page taken on 21 June, 7 September and 13 November 2025, and 16 January, 17 April and 11 July 2026, and its copy of the home page from 6 April 2025. Prices are in US dollars.

What does Koala Feedback cost at 100, 1,000 and 10,000 voters?

Koala Feedback bills a flat plan price with unlimited boards, so voters do not move the bill. VoteFirst is $9 a month at 100 voters, $9 at 1,000 voters and $9 at 10,000 voters.

Where Koala Feedback still wins

Koala Feedback has a free plan, and VoteFirst has none.

What VoteFirst does not do

  • No SAML or OIDC. Single sign on is a signed JWT handoff only, on PRO.
  • No Slack, Zapier or outgoing webhooks.
  • No AI clustering, summarization or automated conversation analysis.
  • No Android or Kotlin SDK.
  • No private boards on any plan. A board is public to everyone or to nobody.
  • Custom domain serves three paths only, the public roadmap, the public voting board and one named board, not the changelog or the most wanted list.
  • No free plan. A 14 day trial, card required at signup.

Run your own public Canny or Featurebase board through the board audit to see its votes, its voters and what it costs at that size.

The VoteFirst board a visitor sees, with the vote count on each card.

14 days, a card at signup, then $9 or $39 a month.
