Alchemer pricing, by the seat

Alchemer builds survey and feedback software, formerly under the name SurveyGizmo, and prices its small team plans by the seat, for one to three users. Collaborator costs $55 a user a month for unlimited surveys and 75,000 responses a year across the account. Professional is $165 a user a month for 100,000 responses, and Full Access is $275 a user a month for 125,000. Each is far cheaper billed yearly: $315, $1,075 and $1,895 a user a year. A team of four or more, or one that needs more responses, moves to a platform plan priced by quote.

Every current figure here comes from the Internet Archive's copy of alchemer.com/plans-pricing taken on 2 October 2026, and every older one from earlier copies of the same page and of SurveyGizmo's.

What does Alchemer cost?

Plan A user a month, billed monthly A user a year, billed yearly Responses a year Users
Collaborator $55 $315 75,000 1 to 3
Professional $165 $1,075 100,000 1 to 3
Full Access $275 $1,895 125,000 1 to 3
Platform plans By quote By quote Custom More than 3

The page puts the yearly saving at 52 percent on Collaborator, 46 on Professional and 43 on Full Access, which the prices bear out: a Collaborator seat costs $660 over a year billed monthly and $315 billed yearly. Collaborator carries unlimited surveys and email support. Professional adds custom templates and branding, more logic, scripting, publishing and analysis, and phone support. Full Access adds advanced research question types, statistical analysis and reporting tools. The platform plans add omnichannel collection, integrations with existing systems, open text analysis, single sign on, a dedicated customer success manager and support around the clock. A free plan exists, but the page names it only in its FAQ, with limited features and responses and no figures.

What does a team of three cost?

Plan 1 user 2 users 3 users 3 users, billed yearly, a year
Collaborator $55 a month $110 a month $165 a month $945
Professional $165 a month $330 a month $495 a month $3,225
Full Access $275 a month $550 a month $825 a month $5,685

Three is the ceiling on every self serve plan. The FAQ sends anyone who needs a fourth user to the platform plans and sales, and a nonprofit discount is available with the same three seat limit.

Is there a free plan or a trial?

The free plan is named in the FAQ, which says it carries limited features and responses without giving either. The trial lasts 7 days, opens every feature of the chosen plan, and needs no credit card up front; a reminder arrives before it ends. Upgrades take effect at once, while a downgrade or a cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. The page prints no refund terms.

October 2020, renamed Alchemer The same three yearly prices, with unlimited responses on Collaborator

February 2024 Yearly prices raised to $315, $1,075 and $1,895 a user; Professional and Full Access described as plans for teams of one to three
October 2026 The same yearly prices; billed monthly, $55, $165 and $275 a user, with every plan capped at three users

Billed yearly, the entry seat has barely moved in seven years: Collaborator was $300 a year in 2019 and is $315 now, Professional went from $1,020 to $1,075, and Full Access from $1,800 to $1,895. What did change is what the seat includes. Collaborator collected unlimited responses in 2020 and was capped at 75,000 a year by 2022, and the prices that were quoted for the account in 2020 have been quoted for each user since 2022. The copies from 2020 to 2024 show only the yearly figures, so how monthly billing moved over those years is not on record. Further back, SurveyGizmo swung between tiers and a single plan, from a $19 entry plan in 2009 and 2011, to one $75 plan in 2013, to a $15 Solo plan in 2015.

VoteFirst is a feature request board: customers post requests, vote and follow a public roadmap, at $9 a month for one project or $39 for unlimited projects and colleagues, with no response count or seat count on either plan. It runs no surveys and does no statistical analysis of answers, which is what Alchemer sells. SurveyMonkey prices a rival survey tool by the response rather than the seat, Typeform and Jotform price form builders with their own free tiers, the survey software shortlist compares ten survey tools by the response and the seat, and the pricing hub groups every vendor by what it meters.

How were these prices read?

On 4 October 2026, alchemer.com/plans-pricing returned a Cloudflare 403 both to a direct request and to a rendered browser request, so the current figures come from the Internet Archive's copy of that page taken on 2 October 2026, including its plan cards in both billing views, its FAQ and its currency table. The history comes from the archive's copies of surveygizmo.com/plans-pricing taken on 19 January 2009, 6 February 2011, 5 January 2013, 6 January 2015, 5 January 2017 and 5 December 2019, and of alchemer.com/plans-pricing/small-teams taken on 30 October 2020, 4 January 2022 and 23 February 2024. Prices are in US dollars, the currency the page says it bills in; its table also lists euro, pound, Australian and Canadian dollar prices for buyers outside the US.

14 days, a card at signup, then $9 or $39 a month.
