Gainsight PX is Gainsight's product experience platform: product analytics, in app guides and engagements, and in app surveys and feedback. On Gainsight's own pricing page the Product Experience card carries no plan name and no number, only a Request Pricing button and a Free Trial button.
Everything below was read on gainsight.com/pricing on 5 October 2026, in a browser, and on the Internet Archive's copies of the same address and of gainsight.com/product-experience/pricing/ and aptrinsic.com/pricing before it.
What does Gainsight PX cost?
| What the card shows | |
|---|---|
| Product Experience | Request Pricing, or Free Trial |
| Includes | Product Analytics, In App Guides and Engagements, In App Hub (formerly KC Bot), User Surveys and Feedback, support for Web, Mobile and Desktop |
The card names no plan, no tier and no dollar figure. Every other product on the same page, Customer Success, Skilljar and Customer Communities, runs its own named plans with feature tables; Product Experience does not.
The Request Pricing button opens a contact form at gainsight.com/resource/pricing/, asking for a name, a business email, a company, a job title, a headcount band and a country, with no price shown before or after submitting it.
What does the free trial include?
The Free Trial button opens a signup form at app.aptrinsic.com, under the heading "Test Drive Gainsight PX For Free Today." The form asks for an email address and a product name, with a box to agree to the terms of service and privacy policy, and prints no field for a card. The page beside the form lists enterprise grade product analytics, in app user engagements and closed loop feedback as what the trial includes, with no length given for the trial and no count of monthly active users it covers.
Is there a free plan or a trial?
The live pricing page prints no free plan for Product Experience, only the free trial above. An archived copy of a dedicated Gainsight PX pricing page from April 2019 did print a free plan: one product up to 100 monthly active users, with product instrumentation, product analytics, in product guides, dialogs and hotspots, NPS surveys and email sends up to 500 a month. The same copy's paid plan read "Custom, Products and Monthly Active Users," with no figure, behind a Request Demo button.
How has Gainsight PX's price changed?
| Archive copy | What the page showed |
|---|---|
| October 2018, aptrinsic.com/pricing | As Aptrinsic: Free for one product up to 100 monthly active users; Paid at custom pricing for more products and users, behind Start Trial or Request Demo |
| April 2019, gainsight.com/product-experience/pricing/ | Same shape under the Gainsight PX name: Free up to 100 monthly active users; Paid at custom pricing, behind Create A Free Account or Request Demo |
| November 2019 to January 2025, gainsight.com/pricing/ | Navigation and product links only; none of the seven copies printed a plan, a feature list or a number for Product Experience |
| February 2026, gainsight.com/pricing/ | Product Experience behind Request Pricing and Free Trial, includes naming Knowledge Center Bot(s) rather than an In App Hub; no figure |
| October 2026, live | Same two buttons, includes naming In App Hub (formerly KC Bot); no figure |
The two copies that printed a plan, in October 2018 and April 2019, both named monthly active users as what the paid plan was built on and both left its price blank. No copy from November 2019 to January 2025 printed any plan content for Product Experience.
Does Gainsight run a feature voting board?
It does. communities.gainsight.com/ideas, titled Product Ideas, lists 6,178 ideas to a visitor who is not signed in, each with an upvote count next to it and a status such as New Idea, Open, Discovery, Development, Released, Parked, Current Behaviour, Closed (Duplicate) or Closed (Won't Do). An Idea Pipeline strip on the same page read Discovery (198), Development (81) and Released (496). A filter on the page narrows ideas by product area, with Gainsight PX listed alongside Gainsight CS, Staircase AI, Gainsight CC, Skilljar by Gainsight and Gainsight CE, so the board covers every Gainsight product rather than PX alone. gainsight.uservoice.com, a separate address, returns 410 Gone.
What this costs
Lite
$9 /mo
Pro
$39 /mo
Lifetime
$999 once
Fourteen day trial of Pro, card asked for at signup. Nothing here counts the people who vote, so the bill does not move when the board starts working. The long version, with what happens if you stop paying.
VoteFirst is a feature request board: customers post requests, vote on each other's and follow a public roadmap, at $9 a month for one project or $39 for unlimited projects and colleagues, with no quote to ask for and no monthly active user count. Gainsight PX tracks product usage, runs in app guides and surveys, and covers every user of a product, and VoteFirst does none of that; it collects and ranks what customers want built next. Pendo reads custom pricing on every paid plan too, Appcues quotes every plan as well, Userpilot and Chameleon print a price by monthly active or tracked users, and the pricing hub groups every vendor by what it meters.
How were these prices read?
The live page comes from gainsight.com/pricing, rendered in a browser on 5 October 2026 because a plain fetch of it returns a Cloudflare challenge rather than the page. The Free Trial and Request Pricing buttons were each opened and read the same day. The history comes from the Internet Archive's copies of aptrinsic.com/pricing taken 22 October 2018, of gainsight.com/product-experience/pricing/ taken 13 April 2019, of gainsight.com/pricing/ taken 12 November 2019, 6 April 2020, 17 January 2021, 11 January 2022, 9 February 2023, 7 April 2024, 24 January 2025 and 8 February 2026, fetched with id_ and HTML comments stripped. The board check found communities.gainsight.com/ideas showing ideas and vote counts with no sign in required, and gainsight.uservoice.com returning 410 Gone with no archived copy on record.
14 days, a card at signup, then $9 or $39 a month.
