Chameleon pricing, by the monthly tracked user

Chameleon builds product tours, checklists, tooltips and microsurveys inside your app, and prices them by monthly tracked users: the people your app sends to Chameleon in the past 30 days. At 5,000 of them, Pro is $750 a month, billed monthly by card. Growth is $1,750 a month, billed yearly. Enterprise is priced by sales. A smaller Startup plan sits in a line under the cards, from $279 a month for 2,000 users.

Every current figure here was read on chameleon.io/pricing on 4 October 2026, as served, in a browser at four points on its slider, and in the price table in the page's own script, and every older one on the Internet Archive's copies of chameleon.io/plans, the address the page had before.

Pro already carries Chameleon's Copilot agent, A/B testing, segmentation, display rules, themes with custom CSS, automations and a basic version of interactive demos, and its two beta agents, which draw on AI credits. Growth adds the Ranger agent, which keeps an account tidy, HelpBar, a search bar your users open inside your app, full interactive demos, customer success and coaching, security questionnaires, and a contract you can redline. Enterprise adds every role and permission, what the table calls first party implementation, account switching, and extra accounts at $5,000 a year each.

The page's text as served, and the structured data in its code, put Growth at $1,250 a month, or $15,000 a year. In a browser, the slider redraws the cards, and at its lowest step of 5,000 users Growth reads $1,750.

These come from the table that drives the page's slider, and were checked in a browser at 5,000, 10,000, 15,000 and 50,000. The slider stops at 50,000; past that the page asks you to book a call.

Pro adds $100 a month for each thousand users up to 10,000, then less. Growth costs more than Pro up to 20,000 users and less from 25,000, where the two lines cross. At 50,000, Pro is $41,220 a year billed month by month, and Growth $30,000, billed for the year.

Is there a free plan or a trial?

There is no free plan for in app guides. The trial is 14 days, and the page's answers say it gives "full Enterprise-level access for 14 days" with "No credit card required to start", plus 10,000 AI credits. A box for booking a demo, on the same page, still offers "your free 30-day trial" to anyone who prefers a monthly plan. The page lists no refund terms.

The structured data in the page's code still lists a free plan for interactive demos, which the cards no longer show. It was on the cards in December 2025, and before it, from November 2023, a free plan for HelpBar.
