Marvin, at heymarvin.com, is a customer research repository that records, transcribes and analyzes interviews and holds the result in a searchable knowledge hub. The pricing page names four plans, Free, Starter, Pro and Enterprise. Free ends at a Get started free button and carries no dollar figure of its own. Starter, Pro and Enterprise each end at a Contact us or Contact sales button, and none of the three prints a price. The page meters seats three ways: full seats who can add data, launch studies and analyze; collaborator seats who contribute data and run lighter research; and viewer seats who only read what is shared.
Every current figure here was read on heymarvin.com/pricing on 5 October 2026, and every older figure on the Internet Archive's copies of the same page.

Is there a free plan or a trial?
Marvin's pricing page names a Free plan with no card required to sign up, ending at a Get started free button. Starter, Pro and Enterprise print no trial length and no card requirement on the page; each ends at a Contact us or Contact sales button. The FAQ says Marvin's free plan gives access to core features with no credit card required, and that paid plans add more seats, integrations, AI capabilities and admin controls when a team is ready to scale. A separate FAQ answer says a trial of Marvin Enterprise can be requested, tailored to a team's needs, security requirements and workflows.

Does Marvin run a feature voting board?
No. A check of community.heymarvin.com, feedback.heymarvin.com, ideas.heymarvin.com and roadmap.heymarvin.com found none of the four resolving. heymarvin.com/ideas, heymarvin.com/feedback and heymarvin.com/roadmap each returned a 404. heymarvin.canny.io returned a page titled "heyMarvin Feedback" that reads "heyMarvin's feedback is private. Log in to see if you have access." The site's footer links only a help center at help.heymarvin.com, with no public board where customers post requests and vote on each other's.
What this costs
Lite
$9 /mo
Pro

Lifetime
$999 once
Fourteen day trial of Pro, card asked for at signup. Nothing here counts the people who vote, so the bill does not move when the board starts working. The long version, with what happens if you stop paying.
VoteFirst is a feature request board: customers post requests, vote on each other's and follow a public roadmap, at $9 a month for one project or $39 for unlimited projects and colleagues, with no full, collaborator or viewer seat count on either plan. Marvin records, transcribes and analyzes customer interviews and holds the result in a searchable knowledge hub, and VoteFirst does none of that; it collects and ranks what customers want built next. Dovetail prints two plans, Free at $0 and Enterprise with no price, Looppanel charges $49 a month on Solo and $395 on Pro, Great Question charges $129 a seat a month, UserTesting names three plans that each end at Request pricing with no figure on any, the user research shortlist compares research tools by the seat and the study, and the pricing hub groups every vendor by what it meters.
How were these prices read?
The current plans came from heymarvin.com/pricing, fetched with curl and read as served on 5 October 2026; the served HTML carried every plan name, seat count and feature label with no script needed to load them, and none of the four plans carries a dollar figure anywhere in that markup. The history comes from the Internet Archive's copies of the same address, fetched with id_ and HTML comments stripped: 2 December 2022, 5 February 2023, 17 January 2024, 17 January 2025 and 10 February 2026. The board check also found heymarvin.canny.io answering with a sign in wall rather than a 404. Every price on every archive copy is printed in US dollars.
14 days, a card at signup, then $9 or $39 a month.
