Great Question runs customer interviews, surveys, unmoderated prototype tests and a research panel and repository, and prices the platform by the seat. There are two tiers, Self serve and Enterprise. Self serve costs $129 a seat a month, or $1,290 a seat a year, for up to five seats, with every self serve research method and a panel of up to 5,000 customers during the trial. Enterprise needs at least five seats, bills annually only and prints no dollar figure, only a demo button. Recruiting participants from outside a customer's own base, and paying them incentives, are both billed separately from the seat price.
Every current figure here was read on greatquestion.co/pricing on 5 October 2026, as served, from the plan cards in both billing views and the frequently asked questions beneath them, and every older one on the Internet Archive's copies of the same page.

Observers, described as team members who only view shared findings rather than create or manage studies, carry no seat charge and no limit on their number on either tier. A seat belongs to anyone who creates or manages a study, recruits participants or analyzes data. Billing annually costs $1,290 a seat a year, which the page describes as two months free against the monthly rate.
What does a team of 1, 5 or 10 researchers pay a month?
Ten researchers need Enterprise, since Self serve stops at five seats.
| Researchers | Self serve, billed monthly | Self serve, billed annually |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | $129 | $107.50 |
| 5 | $645 | $537.50 |
| 10 | Enterprise, custom | Enterprise, custom |
The annual figures are the yearly price divided by twelve: $1,290 a year for one seat and $6,450 a year for five.
What does outside recruiting and incentives cost?
The pricing page lists no dollar rate for a recruited participant. Its answers say a team is charged per successfully recruited participant at what the page calls "near-cost pricing," with no participant fee at all for recruiting a team's own customers. Self serve accounts recruit from Respondent, a panel the page counts at 4.3 million or more candidates; Enterprise accounts can choose Respondent or User Interviews, counted at 7.5 million or more. Incentives run through Tremendous: a team funds a wallet, sets the amount for each participant in each study, and the payment goes out once a session is complete. Incentives and outside recruiting are both described as starting only once an account moves onto a paid plan.
Is there a free plan or a trial?
The pricing page lists no free plan; Self serve is the only paid entry point, and its answers say there is a 14 day trial with no card required. The trial covers unlimited projects, the self serve research methods, management of up to 5,000 customers in a panel and up to 20 hours of transcription a month. Card sorting, tree testing, focus groups and AI moderation are Enterprise features and are not part of the trial. The page lists no refund terms.

VoteFirst is a feature request board: customers post requests, vote on each other's and follow a public roadmap, at $9 a month for one project or $39 for unlimited projects and colleagues, with no seat count and no per participant charge. Great Question schedules and runs customer research studies and recruits and pays outside participants from the Respondent and User Interviews panels, and VoteFirst does none of that; it collects and ranks what customers want built next. User Interviews and Respondent both price the same outside panels by the session, Prolific charges the reward a researcher sets plus its own platform fee, the participant recruitment shortlist sets them side by side, and the pricing hub groups every vendor by what it meters.
How were these prices read?
The current plans come from greatquestion.co/pricing, read on 5 October 2026 as served, from the plan cards in both the monthly and annual billing views, the plan comparison table and the pricing FAQ beneath it. community.greatquestion.co and feedback.greatquestion.co did not resolve, and /ideas, /feedback and /roadmap on greatquestion.co each returned a 404. The history comes from the Internet Archive's copies of the same address taken on 12 May 2021, 28 March 2022 and 15 January 2023, read as served, and from the copies taken on 2 April 2024 and 14 March 2025, rendered in a browser since their pricing loads by script. The archive's copy of 8 March 2026 rendered with no pricing section, so the live page stands for the current figures. Prices are in US dollars.
