Suggested pricing, by the account

Suggested runs feature voting boards, a public roadmap and a changelog for software teams, and sells them on a single plan: $49 a month, billed monthly, with every feature included. A 15 day trial comes first and asks for no credit card. Until late 2020 the product was called Makerkit, and its page then let the first 25 active users in for free before the same $49 began.

Every current figure here was read on suggested.co/pricing on 4 October 2026, and every older one on the Internet Archive's copies of the same page and of makerkit.co/pricing.

What does Suggested cost?

Suggested
Price $49 a month
Billing Monthly, with no yearly plan
Contract Month to month, cancel at any time
Trial 15 days, no credit card
A year $588
Cards accepted Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Diners Club and debit cards

The one plan carries every feature the page lists: multiple projects, feature voting, SSL and a custom domain, single sign on, voter export, Markdown, guest feedback, email reports, portal customization, theming, custom labels, team support and private feedback. Nothing is held back for a higher tier, because there is no higher tier.

Does the price grow with voters?

Not on today's page. The FAQ still defines an active user as anyone who comments, votes or adds feedback to a project, and says someone only counts once they do one of those things. That definition is left over from the Makerkit page, where it decided when a board stopped being free. The current page attaches no limit and no charge to active users, so a board with fifty voters and one with five thousand pay the same $49, and it names no cap on projects or team members either.

Is there a free plan or a trial?

There is no free plan. The trial lasts 15 days and needs no card, and after it the account moves to the $49 plan, billed each month with no long contract. The page prints no refund terms.

How has Suggested's price changed?

Archive copy What the pricing page showed
January 2020, as Makerkit The first 25 active users free, then $49 a month, with every feature included
December 2020 A banner announcing the rename to Suggested; $49 a month after a 15 day trial with no card, and no free allowance
April 2023 Unchanged
4 October 2026, live Unchanged

The number has not moved in almost seven years of copies: $49 in January 2020 and $49 today, with the same feature list. What changed with the rename was the way in. Makerkit let a small board run free until its 26th active user, while Suggested swapped that allowance for a 15 day trial, so every board that keeps running now pays from its third week.

Does Suggested run a feature voting board?

Yes, on its own product. Its feedback portal at feedback.suggested.co carries feedback and roadmap tabs, and on 4 October 2026 the most voted request, a changelog widget with 21 votes, was marked in progress. Its changelog at changelog.suggested.co lists entries from September 2018 to 24 October 2020, when merging duplicate posts was added, and nothing after that date.

VoteFirst does the same job, a voting board, a public roadmap and a changelog, at $9 a month for one project or $39 for unlimited projects and colleagues. A team with one product pays $40 a month less than on Suggested, and a team with several pays $10 less. Suggested's honest advantage is that its $49 buys everything at once: private feedback, which VoteFirst does not offer at any price, and a custom domain and single sign on, which on VoteFirst need the $39 plan. The Suggested alternatives page compares the two in more detail, FeedBear and Fider also sell boards at a flat price, and the pricing hub groups every vendor by what it meters.

How were these prices read?

The current plan comes from suggested.co/pricing, read as served on 4 October 2026, including its FAQ; the feedback portal and the changelog, which load in a browser, were rendered the same day. The history comes from the Internet Archive's copies of makerkit.co/pricing taken on 2 January 2020 and of suggested.co/pricing taken on 8 December 2020 and 25 April 2023. Prices are in US dollars, as the page prints them.
