LimeSurvey Cloud sizes its hosted plans by how many responses a survey can collect. Basic is 34 euros a month, sold only billed monthly, for 1,000 responses a month. Expert is sold only billed annually, at 348 euros a year, which works out to 29 euros a month, for 10,000 responses a year. Business is also annual only, at 900 euros a year or 75 euros a month, for 50,000 responses a year and five to ten admin users. Corporate is quoted individually. The euro prices include VAT at 21 percent, and checkout is always in euros. LimeSurvey is also an open source product, and its Community Edition can be self hosted for free under that license.
Every current figure here was read on limesurvey.org/pricing on 4 October 2026, with every older one on the Internet Archive's copies of the same page.

Is there a free plan or a trial?
The pricing page prints no trial length and no card requirement for Basic, Expert or Business. Its frequently asked questions describe a Free package that an account falls back to once a paid subscription expires, keeping every response already collected and every feature of the free version. The page offers a discount of 30 percent for teachers, 50 percent for students and 30 percent for charitable organizations, each applied once LimeSurvey has verified the applicant, and none applied after the fact. A canceled subscription keeps every feature of its plan until the end of the period already paid. The page prints no refund terms.
How has LimeSurvey's price changed?

|---|---|
| 22 January 2021 | Basic $34 a month; Expert $348 a year; Enterprise $888 a year |
| 22 January 2022 | The same dollar prices |
| 13 January 2023 | The same dollar prices, with a dedicated instance added to Enterprise |
| 7 October 2024 | Basic $39 a month; Expert $432 a year; Business $1,249 a year, replacing Enterprise, for five to ten admin users and 100,000 responses a year |

In dollars, the three plans held at $34 a month, $348 a year and $888 a year from January 2021 to January 2023, then rose to $39, $432 and $1,249 by October 2024, when Business replaced Enterprise. Business has since halved its allowance, from 100,000 responses a year in 2024 to 50,000 now. The older copies printed a euro figure beside each dollar price for orientation only, so they are not set against today's euro prices here.
Does LimeSurvey run a feature voting board?
LimeSurvey's navigation lists polls, questionnaires, votes, forms and surveys among the things its tool builds, and its footer links to legal, company and open source community pages, but nowhere to a public board where LimeSurvey's own customers post requests and vote on each other's. A survey built with LimeSurvey can include a vote type question for someone else's audience, which is not a roadmap for LimeSurvey itself.
What this costs

Pro

Fourteen day trial of Pro, card asked for at signup. Nothing here counts the people who vote, so the bill does not move when the board starts working. The long version, with what happens if you stop paying.
VoteFirst is a feature request board: customers post requests, vote and follow a public roadmap, at $9 a month for one project or $39 for unlimited projects and colleagues, with no response count on either plan. LimeSurvey Cloud lets a customer choose where survey data is kept, from Germany, Finland, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada and Australia, which VoteFirst does not offer. SurveyMonkey and QuestionPro price the closest rival survey tools, Formbricks prices another open source survey tool with its own cloud plans, the survey software shortlist compares survey tools by the response and the seat, and the pricing hub groups every vendor by what it meters.
How were these prices read?
The current plans, response limits, admin users and discount terms come from limesurvey.org/pricing, read on 4 October 2026. It was served to a visitor in the Czech Republic in Czech korunas with a euro figure beside each price, and the page states that prices in any currency other than the euro are for orientation only, that checkout is always in euros and that the prices include VAT at 21 percent, so the euro figures are the ones reported here. The history comes from the Internet Archive's copies taken on 22 January 2021, 22 January 2022, 13 January 2023 and 7 October 2024, each of which showed its visitor prices in US dollars.
14 days, a card at signup, then $9 or $39 a month.
