Pastel counts two things: users, the people on your side who create canvases, and canvases, each one a website or file your clients comment on. Free is one user and one active canvas. Pro is $35 a month, or $29 billed yearly, for two users and three active canvases. Team is $119 a month, or $99 billed yearly, for five users and unlimited canvases, and $24 a month for each user after that. Guest reviewers, who only leave comments, are unlimited on every plan and need no account.
Every current figure here was read on usepastel.com/plans on 4 October 2026, in both billing views, and every older one on the Internet Archive's copies of the same page.
What does Pastel cost?
| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed yearly | Users | Active canvases | Video storage |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 1 | 1 | Not listed |
| Pro | $35 a month | $29 a month, $350 a year | 2 | 3 | 100 GB |
| Team | $119 a month | $99 a month, $1,190 a year | 5, then $24 a month each | Unlimited | 500 GB |
| Enterprise | Not offered | $450 a month, $5,400 a year | 10 | Unlimited | Not listed |
Most of the product is on Free: file attachments in comments, CSV export, comment labels, assigning comments, mentions, pausing comments, project folders, feedback deadlines and reminders, a responsive tester and approvals. Pro adds the second user, two more canvases and the video storage. Team is the first plan with the webhook export and the integrations with Trello, Asana, Jira, ClickUp, Monday and Zapier, so sending feedback into a tracker starts at $99 a month billed yearly. Enterprise adds the SOC 2 report, single sign on with SAML, custom legal terms and an account representative, and is billed yearly only.
The page's answers define the canvas: "Each canvas houses a whole website", and you turn commenting off to move between its pages. Pastel makes no copy of the site; it layers comments on the live one through its own proxy.
How much do more users cost?
Pro stops at two users, so the third user means Team, which is priced for five.
| Users | Cheapest plan | Billed monthly |
|---|---|---|
| 2 | Pro | $35 a month |
| 3 to 5 | Team | $119 a month |
| 8 | Team and three more users | $191 a month |
| 10 | Team and five more users | $239 a month |
| 10, with single sign on | Enterprise | $450 a month, billed yearly |
A team of three pays $84 a month more than a team of two. At ten users Enterprise costs $211 a month more than Team billed monthly, so it is bought for single sign on and the SOC 2 report, not for the seats. The page prints $24 for each extra user in both billing views; its copy of April 2025 printed $20 in the yearly view.
Paying yearly costs ten months of the monthly price, about 17 percent less, which the copy of June 2026 printed as "Save 17% by paying annually".
Is there a free plan or a trial?
Both. Free has no time limit and holds one active canvas at a time; you archive a canvas to start another and can bring it back later for more feedback. Every paid plan comes with 14 days free, and the page's answer says "No credit card needed". The pricing page lists no refund terms.

Does Pastel run a feature voting board?
Pastel collects comments pinned to a live website or a PDF and turns them into tasks you assign. The pricing page lists no board where customers post requests and vote on each other's.
What this costs

Pro

Fourteen day trial of Pro, card asked for at signup. Nothing here counts the people who vote, so the bill does not move when the board starts working. The long version, with what happens if you stop paying.
VoteFirst is a feature request board: customers post requests, vote on each other's and follow a public roadmap, at $9 a month for one project or $39 for unlimited projects and colleagues, with no canvas or user counter. It takes no comments pinned to a page. BugHerd, Marker.io and Userback are priced on their own pages, eight bug report widgets are compared by what each captures and from which plan, the bug reporting shortlist prices twelve of these tools for a team of five, and the pricing hub groups every vendor by what it meters.
