UserGuiding pricing, and where the feature request board sits

UserGuiding has two priced plans and a quoted one. Starter is $174 a month billed yearly, or $249 billed monthly, and Growth is $349 billed yearly, or $499 monthly, both for up to 2,000 monthly active users. Prices rise in steps to 9,900 users, and from 10,000 every plan is quoted. Feature requests and the public roadmap are on Growth and Enterprise, not on Starter.

Every current price here was read on userguiding.com/pricing on 4 October 2026.

The UserGuiding pricing page read 2026-10-04 with yearly billing selected, Starter at one hundred and seventy four dollars a month and Growth at three hundred and forty nine for up to 2,000 monthly active users
UserGuiding's published plans at 2,000 monthly active users, yearly billing. Read 4 October 2026.

What does UserGuiding cost at your number of users?

Monthly active users Starter, billed yearly Starter, billed monthly Growth, billed yearly Growth, billed monthly
Up to 2,000 $174 a month $249 a month $349 a month $499 a month
Up to 5,000 $209 $299 $419 $599
Up to 9,900 $244 $349 $489 $699
10,000 or more Quoted Quoted Quoted Quoted

Paying yearly takes about 30 percent off: $900 to $1,260 a year on Starter and $1,800 to $2,520 on Growth, the savings the page prints beside each price. Enterprise is quoted at every size.

UserGuiding counts a monthly active user as a person who used your product at least once in the last 30 days. Going over the quota costs nothing extra: your users stop seeing your guides and other UserGuiding content until you raise the quota or the count falls back under it.

What does the feature request board cost on UserGuiding?

The roadmap and feature requests rows in the comparison table are empty for Starter and ticked for Growth and Enterprise. The cheapest way to run a feature request board on UserGuiding is Growth: $349 a month on a yearly plan at up to 2,000 users, which is $4,188 a year, or $499 paying month to month. At 9,900 users it is $489 a month billed yearly, $5,868 a year.

The board's price follows the number of people using your product, because it is part of a plan metered on monthly active users.

How has UserGuiding's price changed?

The Internet Archive holds copies of the pricing page back to 2020. The plans have been renamed twice since 2021, and in June 2025 the price for a product of about 2,000 users nearly doubled on the entry plan.

Archive copy Entry plan, monthly and yearly Middle plan, monthly and yearly Top plan
January 2021 Start-Up, $199 and $166 Growth, $399 and $333 Enterprise, from $999 and $833
January 2023 Basic, $99 and $69 Professional, $399 and $299 Corporate, from $699 and $499
April 2024 Basic, $129 and $89 Professional, $499 and $389 Corporate, from $999 and $689
January 2025, up to 1,000 users Basic, $99 and $69 Professional, $299 and $199 Corporate, quoted
January 2025, 1,000 to 2,500 users Basic, $129 and $89 Professional, $399 and $249 Corporate, quoted
June 2025 to now, up to 2,000 users Starter, $249 and $174 Growth, $499 and $349 Enterprise, quoted

A product with 2,000 monthly active users paid $89 a month for the entry plan on a yearly contract in January 2025, and pays $174 now, 96 percent more. The middle plan went from $249 to $349, up 40 percent. Billed monthly, the entry plan went from $129 to $249. The prices have not moved in the copies from January and March 2026 or on the live page.

In April 2024 the page priced optional EU hosting at $50. It now includes EU hosting on Growth and Enterprise, and sells it to Starter as an add on with no price on the page.

Is there a free trial?

Yes, 14 days with no card, and the page says a trial can be extended on request. UserGuiding also offers a 30 day money back guarantee. Extra seats and other add ons are bought inside the product, and the pricing page gives no price for them.

Is UserGuiding a feature voting tool?

UserGuiding is an onboarding and product adoption tool first: product tours, hotspots, checklists, resource centers and in app surveys, with feature requests and a public roadmap added on its second plan. A team that mainly wants users to post and vote on requests pays for the guides around the board, and pays more as its product gains users.

VoteFirst is a feature request board: users post requests, vote and see what was decided, at $9 a month for one project or $39 for unlimited projects and colleagues, with no meter on monthly active users. Against UserGuiding's cheapest board, $349 a month billed yearly, that is $340 or $310 a month less. It has no product tours, hotspots or onboarding checklists. The feature request tools are compared on one page, and Userpilot and Appcues are priced on the same meter. Eight product tour tools are priced by the active user on one page.

How were these prices read?

The current prices come from the price script on userguiding.com/pricing, which holds both billing states for each step of its user slider, and the plan contents from the comparison table on the same page, read on 4 October 2026. The history comes from the Internet Archive's copies of the same address taken on 7 January 2021, 30 January 2023, 22 April 2024, 24 January 2025, 9 June 2025, 20 January 2026 and 4 March 2026; the January 2025 figures come from that copy's price script, which priced the plans by user count. Prices are in US dollars before tax.
