Customer Thermometer sends one click CSAT, NPS and smiley face surveys by email, embedded buttons or email signature, and counts a plan by the responses it receives each month rather than by seats.
Every figure here was read on the Internet Archive's copies of customerthermometer.com/pricing, the newest from 8 April 2025, which lists seven priced plans. Runner is $29 a month for 50 responses. Jumper is $49 for 200. Flyer is $99 for 500. Mach 1 is $159 for 1,000. Mach 2 is $259 for 5,000. Mach 3 is $400 for 10,000. Mach 4 is $700 for 20,000. Enterprise has no published price and is sold by quote. Every plan carries unlimited users and agents at no extra charge, and there is no yearly billing option on the page; annual invoicing is offered only by request.

| Flyer | 500 | $99 |
| Mach 1 | 1,000 | $159 |

A response is one click received, from an email, an embedded button or an email footer, so a hundred support emails carrying the buttons that draw sixty clicks use sixty. Unused responses roll over, up to double the plan's monthly count held at any one time, and every plan includes full reporting, response and comment email alerts, and the right to upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time.
What happens when the responses run out?
An account can switch on an automatic upgrade so its balance never reaches zero. Without it, once the balance does reach zero, new responses are not recorded and the people clicking see a survey closed sign until the next month's responses arrive or the plan is raised. A separate "At the Beach" plan, $9 a month, holds an account's existing data without sending new surveys when a team pauses.
What does a bigger response volume cost?
| Responses a month | Plan | A month | Cost a response |
|---|---|---|---|
| 50 | Runner | $29 | $0.58 |
| 200 | Jumper | $49 | $0.25 |
| 500 | Flyer | $99 | $0.20 |
| 1,000 | Mach 1 | $159 | $0.16 |
| 5,000 | Mach 2 | $259 | $0.05 |
| 10,000 | Mach 3 | $400 | $0.04 |
| 20,000 | Mach 4 | $700 | $0.04 |
The cost a response falls by about fifteen times between the smallest plan and the two largest, with no user count anywhere in the table since every plan already carries unlimited users.
Is there a free plan or a trial?
There is no day limited trial. The signup form asks only for an email address and a password, and a new account gets 10 free survey responses before a paid plan is needed. Every plan carries a 30 day money back guarantee, and the page accepts Visa, Mastercard and American Express cards.
How has Customer Thermometer's price changed?
| Archive copy | Plans and prices a month |
|---|---|
| July 2015, July 2017, November 2019 | Runner $29 for 50, Jumper $49 for 200, Flyer $99 for 500, Mach 1 $159 for 1,000; the "At the Beach" pause plan already $9 |
| October 2021, December 2022, July 2024, April 2025 | Same four plans and prices, plus Mach 2 $259 for 5,000, Mach 3 $400 for 10,000, Mach 4 $700 for 20,000, and an Enterprise tier by quote |
The four original plans and their prices have not moved since at least 2015. The only change the Archive shows is an addition, not a repricing: by October 2021 three higher Mach tiers and an Enterprise tier had been added above Mach 1 for teams sending more than 1,000 responses a month.
Does Customer Thermometer run a feature voting board?
Customer Thermometer's own navigation lists Features, Customers, Pricing, Industries and Resources, with no roadmap, feature request or voting link, and the archived pricing page names no public board where its customers post or vote on requests.
What this costs
Lite
$9 /mo
Pro
$39 /mo
Lifetime
$999 once
Fourteen day trial of Pro, card asked for at signup. Nothing here counts the people who vote, so the bill does not move when the board starts working. The long version, with what happens if you stop paying.
VoteFirst is a feature request board: customers post requests, vote on each other's and follow a public roadmap, at $9 a month for one project or $39 for unlimited projects and colleagues, with no count of survey responses. Customer Thermometer includes unlimited users on every plan, even the $29 one, where VoteFirst's $9 plan has no team, and VoteFirst sends no CSAT or NPS surveys at all. Nicereply and Simplesat price the same kind of one click survey on their own pages, the CSAT and NPS shortlist compares thirteen survey tools by the answered survey, and the pricing hub groups every vendor by what it meters.
How were these prices read?
An attempt to read customerthermometer.com/pricing on 4 October 2026, by curl and by a headless browser, both ended at the site's own bot check page, so no current figure here comes from the live site. The history comes from the Internet Archive's copies of the same page taken on 17 July 2015, 15 August 2017, 13 November 2019, 25 October 2021, 12 December 2022, 6 December 2023, 22 July 2024 and 8 April 2025. The December 2023 copy is itself the bot check page, not a priced one, so it is named but not used for any figure. Two earlier copies, from 2011 and 2012, carry their prices as images rather than text, and are not used for the same reason.
14 days, a card at signup, then $9 or $39 a month.
