MarkUp.io lets you leave pinned comments on a live website, an image, a PDF or a video, and bring reviewers in with a link. It prices by the MarkUp: each website or file you set up for review counts as one, every month. Pro is $79 a month for 50 of them, $99 for 75 and $129 for 100. Business is $499 for 200, $649 for 400 and $799 for 600. Users are unlimited on every plan, and Enterprise is priced by quote.
Every current figure here was read on markup.io/pricing on 4 October 2026, in both billing views, and every older one on the Internet Archive's copies of the same page.
What does MarkUp.io cost?
| MarkUps a month | Plan | Billed monthly | Billed yearly |
|---|---|---|---|
| 50 | Pro | $79 a month | Not offered |
| 75 | Pro | $99 a month | $990 a year |
| 100 | Pro | $129 a month | $1,290 a year |
| 200 | Business | $499 a month | $4,990 a year |

| 600 | Business | $799 a month | $7,990 a year |
| Unlimited | Enterprise | Custom | Custom |
A year costs ten months, "2 months free" in the page's words, and the yearly view offers Pro only at 75 and 100 MarkUps. Pro is paid by card; Business billed yearly is "paid via invoice".
Pro carries unlimited users, one workspace, 100 to 200 GB of storage, folders, share links you can manage, the integrations, archiving, and sign in with Google or Microsoft. Business adds 500 to 600 GB, your own branding and a vanity domain, the full metrics dashboard, more capacity on the API and SDK, priority support, and no cap on attachments in comments, which Pro holds to 100 MB. Enterprise adds unlimited workspaces, single sign on through SAML, SOC II documentation, a custom data processing agreement, a dedicated success manager and custom onboarding.
What does one MarkUp cost?
| Allowance | A month | Per MarkUp |
|---|---|---|
| 50 on Pro | $79 | $1.58 |
| 75 on Pro | $99 | $1.32 |
| 100 on Pro | $129 | $1.29 |
| 200 on Business | $499 | $2.50 |
| 400 on Business | $649 | $1.62 |
| 600 on Business | $799 | $1.33 |
| Extra, in batches of 10 | $40 | $4.00 |
Going over the allowance costs "a flat $4.00 per MarkUp", bought ten at a time, three times what a MarkUp costs inside Pro's largest allowance. Business costs more per MarkUp than Pro at every step; the difference pays for branding, the vanity domain, the metrics and priority support.
Is there a free plan or a trial?
There is no free plan today. Pro and Business each offer a 14 day trial, and the page states neither a card requirement nor refund terms.
A free plan ran for more than five years. It was free per user in 2019 and 2021, free for 20 MarkUps from July 2022, cut to 5 MarkUps in October 2023, and gone by March 2025. The trial was 14 days in 2022 and 2023, 30 days from October 2023 to December 2025, and is 14 days again. The card rule turned the same way: the copies from August 2021 to November 2024 say "No credit card required", and those from March to December 2025 say "Credit card is required".

In 2024 a team that set up 100 reviews a month paid $25 a month on Pro billed yearly, $300 for the year, with no limit on MarkUps. The same team now pays $129 a month, or $1,290 a year, more than four times as much. The change came in two steps: Pro's price rose to $79 between November 2024 and March 2025, and the MarkUp allowance arrived between December 2025 and September 2026.
Does MarkUp.io run a feature voting board?
MarkUp.io collects comments pinned to a page or a file. Its pricing page lists no board where customers post requests and vote on each other's.
What this costs
Lite
$9 /mo
Pro
$39 /mo
Lifetime
$999 once
Fourteen day trial of Pro, card asked for at signup. Nothing here counts the people who vote, so the bill does not move when the board starts working. The long version, with what happens if you stop paying.
VoteFirst is a feature request board: customers post requests, vote on each other's and follow a public roadmap, at $9 a month for one project or $39 for unlimited projects and colleagues, with no count of reviews. It takes no comments pinned to a page. Ruttl, Pastel and BugHerd are priced on their own pages, eight bug report widgets are compared by what each captures and from which plan, the bug reporting shortlist prices twelve of these tools for a team of five, and the pricing hub groups every vendor by what it meters.
